EIT Climate-KIC Team

EIT Climate-KIC Education provides knowledge and skills development opportunities for students, professionals and innovators to collaborate on business climate change challenges.

The EIT Regional Innovation Scheme (EIT RIS) is the EIT Community’s outreach scheme. It is designed for EU Member States and Horizon 2020 Associated Countries who are moderate innovators, and where Innovation Communities have few or no partners.

Joint Research Centre

The Joint Research Centre (JRC) is the European Commission’s science and knowledge service which employs scientists to carry out research in order to provide independent scientific advice and support to EU policy.

European Environment Agency

The European Environment Agency (EEA) is an agency of the European Union, whose task is to provide sound, independent information on the environment. The EEA aims to support sustainable development by helping to achieve significant and measurable improvement in Europe’s environment, through the provision of timely, targeted, relevant and reliable information to policy-making agents and the public.

DG REGIO

DG REGIO is formed by 700 professionals from all over the European Union who understand the diverse challenges faced by EU countries and their regions. They use their wide range of expertise to target investments that foster growth and create jobs. They aim to become a knowledge base within the European Commission to inform policy making with regional data and intelligence.

Transformative Innovation Policy Consortium

The Transformative Innovation Policy Consortium (TIPC) is a group of science, technology and innovation researchers, policymakers and funding agencies working together to give substance to a new framing for Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) policy. TIPC aims to address global societal challenges, as encapsulated in the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

Member States

EIT Climate-KIC is partnering with the Government of Slovenia in a deep demonstration of rapid change to circular and regenerative economy and society . EIT Climate-KIC is also aims to facilitate a strategic dialogue on the adoption of Circular Economy in Smart Specialization by working together with authorities in Bulgaria.
